Early this year Ivychurch Parish Council invested in a 4.2kw solar system for the Village Hall Roof. Installed on the 26th January by Greenman Solar, a local company based in Ashford. The panels will enable us to benefit from reduced electricity costs from a combination of lower usage and a small income from electricity generated and returned to the grid.

We would like to thank Councillor Tony Hills for providing a Grant of £1000 from Folkestone and Hythe District Council, and £500 from Kent County Council. We would also like to thank Greenman Solar for providing the panels at cost.
